My name is Kena. I'm 20 years old and currently living at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. My husband is in the United States Army, his job is to serve and protect. He's infantry, and saving our country one battle at a time. Say all you want about the president, but do not disrepect those serving our country. We have a beautiful baby boy, Braden Franklin Simmons, who was born January 12, 2008 at 1045PMCST. He's my pride and joy, and I never knew how much I could love anyone as much as I love him. We're all enduring our first deployment, and it's the hardest thing we've had to do since we've been married.
I'm not in school, right now, I'm a stay at home mom, but I do have plans to go back to school to get a masters degree in meteorology. I would love to work for the National Weather Service one day. It's been a dream of mine since I was 6 years old. That is no joke.
